If you want to bag an airport bargain but could do without the burden and hassle of all that extra weight, then you can now buy before you fly and then pick up your purchases when you return from your holiday or business trip.

This is a free service which is available to passengers flying to EU destinations only (including domestic flights). Passengers will be required to complete a product form for their purchase from the air side shop which will be delivered to the Luggage-Point service area.

Items will be stored until you return to your home destination and all you have to do is provide a proof of purchase and some identification and the Luggage-Point team will do the rest.

This service is currently available through Luggage-Point at Edinburgh Airport and Glasgow Airport.
